Araya Totoan has a natural hot spring source which 100,000 litter of water per day is flowing from. You can relax at hot spring baths with various efficacies anytime you like. Dinner is Kaga style kaiseki course utilizing local fresh ingredients. Enjoy the tasty food served into selected table ware such as Kutani ceramic and Yamanaka lacquer ware. The special course with local fresh crab can be served in winter. The wooden detached house where Japanese royal family had stayed before has been renovated and converted into a guest room.

There are four main types of rooms, all of which are equipped with private bath.
- Wayo-Shitsu with Semi-Open-Air Bath (Maximum capacity: 5 guests) - Japanese-style main room and twin bedroom with a semi-open-air bath
- "Ochin-no-ma" (Maximum capacity: 5 guests)- Historical Japanese-style room featuring main room and twin bedroom with a semi-open-air bath
- Sukiya Style Room (Maximum capacity: 3 guests) - Sukiya style (an architectural style for tea ceremony) room with futon mats or twin beds, featuring an indoor bath
- "Arisugawa" (Maximum capacity: 6 guests) - A wooden detached house, where Japanese royal family had stayed in Meiji era, featuring two Japanese-style rooms and twin bedroom with a semi-open-air bath
